1. Godfrey Gao (Taiwan)
Born to a Taiwanese father and Malaysian mother, Godfrey’s good looks should make Asian people proud. And with them, he has become the first Asian male model to appear in a Louis Vuitton ad campaign (2011). He was also the brand ambassador for skincare giant SK-II Men. As an actor, one of his biggest roles was Magnus Bane in the film adaptation of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013) and mandarin voice-over of Ken in Toy Story 3. And if that’s not enough, he has also starred in multiple films and TV series.

Working in the film industry for two decades has left Arjun Rampal with an abundance of experience and wisdom, “Patience is the biggest factor. And we must have a goal. Belief in yourself and your choices is important. Once you make that choice, then see it through with complete determination, and not let your focus shift. You have to be patient and not sign every film, which is offered [to you], as you think your time might run out” said Arjun to Hindustan Times. He has also played the supporting role of Jasjit in Don-The Chase Begins Again (2006) which starred Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra, and the busy man has a role in one of the most successful movies in India Ra.One. In the Movie Rock On!!, he won Filmfare Best Supporting Actor, Awards of the International Indian Film Academy for Best Actor in Supporting Role, and National Film Awards for Best Supporting Actor.
3. Eddie Peng (Taiwan)
In 2002, a director discovered Peng in Taiwan and cast him for his debut drama The White Paper of Love which gained him lots of attention. Based on the film My DNA Says I Love You, in 2007 Peng got nominated as The Best Newcomer in the 44th Taiwan Golden Horse Awards. His turning point was in 2011 when he played main lead in Jump! Ashin! and got nominated as The Best Male Lead in the 48th Taiwan Golden Horse Awards. Starred in Rise of the Legend (2014), he was the new generation Juang Fei Hung which was previously played by Jet Li and Vincent Zhao. Another unique side of Peng is that he was a child star with over than 10 advertisement experiences.
4. Mario Maurer (Thailand)
Maurer started his modeling and acting career since as young as 16 years old, it started when he was approached as a model in Siam Square. His first big role The Love of Siam (2007) created fame beyond Thailand’s border. This movie led him won the Best Actor award in Starpics Thai Films Awards and also nominated in Bangkok Critics Assembly and Star Entertainment Awards. Another big success was his lead role in Thailand’s highest grossing film of all time, Pee Mak (2013). His other achievement including runaway model at the Philippine Fashion Week (2011); endorser of The Pizza Company, Sugus, Honda Jazz, Pepsi, and Sony Ericsson; and perfume launch “Mario Maurer for Men”.
5. Daniel Henney (Korean-American)
Daniel was born during a phase when racism against Asians and Africans was at its very peak in the American culture. He even got beaten up and faced racial slurs from classmates at school. But, these experiences only made him stronger as a person. His modeling career started in 2001 when he was a college student. Amazingly he got to work internationally such as in Italy, France, USA, and Taiwan. His film debut Seducing Mr. Perfect made him famous and led him to even bigger roles in Holywood such as X Men Origins: Wolverine with Hugh Jackman and The Last Stand with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
6. Piolo Pascual (the Philippines)
When Pascual played in the award-winning film Dekada 70, he received eight awards in the Best Supporting Actor category and was given special recognition for RARE GRAND SLAM award as a Best Supporting Actor by the GMMSF Box-Office Entertainment Awards. Not only good at acting, he also has achievement in the music industry. Even though Piolo was his debut, it succeeded to go platinum. His second album My Gift hit platinum status as well and his 5th solo album Timeless even hit triple platinum status. Another remarkable milestone was becoming a producer of Manila and represent the Philippines at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival twice. He is also a noble guy that contributes to the community through Hebreo 12:1 Foundation he built.
7. Dominic Adams (Iran – British)
On the Afterbuzz TV interview, Adams said that he first got into acting because he was ‘obnoxious and seeking for attention’, then at age 13, he discovered that acting is the best way to channel it. Noone in his family was doing acting and his parents were at first hesitant with his choice of career as an actor, since like most parents they wanted stability and definite success for their children. His debut was in 2008 for the undercover policeman role in Telstar: The Joe Meek Story. Later he moved to Los Angeles where he landed a number of TV series roles. Since 2013 he has been starring in popular TV series including Devious Maids the fastest-growing scripted series ever and Six which was commissioned by the History Channel.
8. Jackson Wang (Hong Kong)
Jackson is very multitalented, he sings, raps, dances, models, and does fencing. He was scouted by the well known JYP Entertainment for the boy group GOT7. He won the first place in Asian Junior and Cadet Fencing Championship and ranked 11th in the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics. He has also appeared multiple times on a number of Korean television series such as Roommate which increased his popularity and which he was awarded the Newcomer Award at the 2014 SBS Entertainment Award. He was appointed as a presenter alongside He Jiong on the Chinese version of the show Please Take Care of My Refrigerator namely Go Fridge and MC at a show at Hunan TV called Fresh Sunday.
9. Oded Fehr (Israel)
Born in 1970 in Israel, Oded Fehr is one highly popular actors. His biggest role was Ardeth Bay in The Mummy and The Mummy Returns. Another big role was Carlos Olivera in Resident Evil: Apocalypse, Resident Evil: Extinction, and Resident Evil: Retribution. He has also made multiple television guest appearances, such as Law & Order, NCIS, Covert Affairs, Quantico, The Blacklist, and Once Upon a Time. Additionally, Fehr did voice-over as Doctor Fate in Justice League, Justice League: Unlimited, Batman: The Brave and The Bold, and Ultimate Spider-Man.
10. Yoshi Sudarso (Chinese – Indonesian)
Yoshi is of Chinese descent and was born in Indonesia. More of a stuntman than an actor, he learned to stunt from YouTube videos. He has been a stuntman for his brother – Peter the ranger actor, Ki Hong Lee in The Maze Runner, Dark Rising, Masterless, and many more. Yoshi adored Power Rangers since he was very young, he was the stunt of a ranger for live shows but failed his auditions three times before he got the role Koda, the Blue Dino Charge Ranger.
