For the last instalment of #EyeWanderWin in collaboration with Expedia and Oppo, Matt travelled to Penang with our final winners, Hon Wang Jin Priscilla and Ng Shang En Ernest for a gastronomic foodie tour.
They stayed at the authentic Edison Hotel, Georgetown and explored the vibrant streets of Georgetown on foot and by rickshaw. They filled their days by enjoying the cheap street eats that Georgetown has to offer, marvelling at the numerous street art murals and relaxing in the many hipster cafes.
Matt’s top foodie tip for Georgetown is to visit Joo Hooi Cafe for the dirt cheap, to die for food! He wouldn’t take the time to visit the Gurney Drive Hawker Centre Night Market again unless his travel companion loved cockles!
